Linda Kay Jones was born on November 17, 1957 in Flint, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Archie and Charlotte (Durnan) Crampton. Over the last several years, Linda was cared for by her daughter and granddaughters. They consider it one of life’s greatest honors to have walked beside her during her final chapter.
Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and wife. Her legacy is one of love, hard work and unwavering commitment to those she loved so dearly. Linda dedicated many years of service to Flint Community Schools before retiring. She volunteered countless hours at her children’s schools while they were growing up. Whether through her professional work or the supporting role she played for so many, she gave of her time generously- it was simply who she was.
Left to cherish her memory are her children- Jennifer Jones (Eric), and Bradley Tarrance (Lindsay); her grandchildren- Emily Jones (Anthony), Samantha Fetterman (Kristian), Lauren Ridley (Daniel), Christina Tarrance, and Maxwell Tarrance; her three siblings; and many special nieces and nephews.
Her family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to the many friends, extended family, and caregivers who provided support, comfort, and compassion along the way.
