Age 86, JoAnn Morris of Grand Blanc, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on JoAnn’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

JoAnn Elizabeth Morris (Blundo) was born on April 18, 1939, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Elizabeth (Littier) Blundo. JoAnn loved music, playing the piano, and singing in her choir. She spent her career as a teacher of English and Reading and was principal of a catholic elementary school in Hazel Park.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband: Robert Morris; her brother James (Barbara) Blundo and her stepchildren Ian Morris and Heather Kinder.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and sister: Joseph and Elizabeth Blundo and Janine Blundo.
