Age 64, of Burton, Michigan passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Janie’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Janie Marie Burton was born on May 5, 1961 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.W. and Nancy (Newberry) Burton.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Tiffany Mose, sons James Burton, and William Shepley. Grandchildren Alexis (Aaron), Emma and Ian Mose, Prestin, Noah and Sebastian Shepley. Great-Grandchildren Kinsley, Colton, Caden and Kali, and special friend, Theresa Mose.

Siblings, Carol (Randy) Clayton, Donald Burton, Terry Burton, Sherry Wines, and Barb (Mick) Wines.

Many nieces nephews cousins and friends.

Janie was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Shepley, Her parents LW and Nancy Burton, siblings Joe and Janice Burton. And her Son-In-Law Timothy Mose.
