Age 89, of Grand Blanc, Michigan died May 7th, 2024 at his residence.  A military service has been held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, where he was laid to rest next to his wife Rita who preceded him in death in 2009.

James was born June 19th, 1934 in Dixon, South Dakota. He was the son of Vera (Carlson) Walker and Gilbert Walker.  Surviving are sons John (Jeannine), James (Cheryl), Michael (Diana), daughter Dawn Swain (James) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
