Gordon was a remarkable person and a wonderful friend. His vast knowledge made every conversation engaging, no matter where it led. It was a privilege to have known him, and he will be deeply missed.
Gordon was my cousin whom I wish I had seen more often. We spoke on the phone but had not see each other for many years. I was born in Big Rapids but raised Army so traveled most of my life. How I wish I had been able to sit and have a cup of tea with him.
