Diane Marie Schuchard was born on May 10, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Virginia (Hutton) Bell. Diane was a graduate of Dondero High School class of 1969. She married Daniel Schuchard October 12, 1973. She resided in Royal Oak for many years before settling in Fenton. They had two daughters, Ann and Rebecca.

Diane was an amazing homemaker who put her family first and supported both her children and her husband. She loved to craft by crocheting and would give gifts to friends and family. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was known as Aunt Dede and famously as Little Grandma. She took care of others in her life and would often assist her neighbors and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Ann (Tom) Snyder, Rebecca (John) Emery; her grandchildren: Ethan and Ellie Snyder; her two sisters: Nancy (Doug) Wood, and Carol (Pete) Suhy; many nieces and nephews that she adored along with great nieces and nephews. She will be remembered fondly by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Daniel, by her brother Jerry and her parents, Roy and Virginia Bell.

The family will hold a celebration of life in the Spring with more information to follow.

Diane was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. For myself, she was truly an amazing aunt! I will always remember that giggle and smile. I hope you’re crocheting something beautiful up in heaven. You will never be forgotten, rest in peace.
