Delores Ann Weatherford

Age 79, of Mount Morris, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Delores’ tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Delores Ann (Hensley) Weatherford was born on February 25, 1946, in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon and Millie (Blevins) Hensley. Delores was one of many names she had; she would often go by Dee, Deezy, Granny Dee, Mom, Aunt, Daughter, Sissy, Friend, and, can’t forget, “Daddy’s little bull.” Whatever name she wore, she wore it with pride. Dee was a hard working woman with unwavering love that touched everyone around her, especially her loved ones. She will be dearly missed but always remembered.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Clyde (Amy) Weatherford Jr., her two brothers, Denny and Donald Hensley, her sister, Della Decker, many nieces and nephews, loved ones, and her best friend, Doris Kinkaid Pruitt.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Millie Hensley, her brother, five sisters, nephews, and nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her home in Mount Morris.
