Momma Della,
I could write so much about you, though there would never be enough words to express the impact you had on my life & what you truly meant to me. You made such a huge difference in my life growing up, always there for me like a second Mom, as far back as I can remember. Some of my earliest & happier childhood times were spent at y’alls house, all the sleep overs, the countless get togethers as a kids & to singing in the choir at church. One of my favorite memories that I will forever hold dear to me was you helping me get ready on my wedding day. Letting me drive your red mustang roush with you riding shotgun, with the top down with you with the wind in our hair, singing at the top of our lungs. Wiping my tears away, as you pinned April’s heart pendant on the bodice of my dress for my something old. You watched me grow from a little girl into a woman, holding all my babies & loving them & me just like your own, as you always have. I’ll never forget your laugh, your hugs, our long distant phone calls & inside jokes. Thank you for always showing my family & I kindness, your beautiful generous spirit touched so many people. Your legacy will live on through all of us. Until we meet again, I am sending all my love to you in the Heavens!
Todd

May God give you strength during this difficult time. It was a pleasure for Peggy and I to have gotten to know you both. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!

My dear cousin I will forever miss you! May you be my angel in heaven along with our moms and April. God Bless you Todd I know you were the Love of Della’s life!
What a beautiful friend and Eeagle sister you were. Todd, I am so, so sorry for your loss, she loved you very much. You were her rock. She had that one smile that touched your heart. Della you will be missed. You are our Angel up above!
Todd – once again, I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed getting to know you and Della over the past few years and was stunned when I heard about Della’s cancer. I’ve been praying for her and for you the entire time and while we know prayer is powerful, God’s plan was for her to return to him. We are never ready to lose someone we love, no matter the type of relationship nor the length of time we were able to love them, but we know she is no longer in pain or struggling. I’m sending you continued prayers for strength.
Della, was so engertic, specially when helping others. You are missed and loved by all. Todd, thoughts and prayers are for you. Della was born on earth to bloom in heaven
