Cynthia Kay Noakes, age 67, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 8, 1957, in Dryden Michigan, Cindy grew up with a deep appreciation for nature and a nurturing heart. Her passions included feeding and watching the birds, wildlife, traveling, tending to her garden, and immersing herself in the pages of her favorite books, especially those of author Stephen King. She found joy in life’s quiet moments.

Cindy is survived by her devoted son, Shawn Musson, and his partner Tracey Allard; her siblings: William (Jan) of Felch, MI, Laurie Courtois (Alan) of Lapeer, MI, John Noakes of Metamora, MI, and Patti McCardle (Chad) of Marlette, MI; along with many beloved nieces and nephews who cherished her gentle and free-spirited nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Noakes, and her sisters, Kathy Osborn and Julie Hoffman. Their reunion, we trust, is one of joy, comfort, and peace.

The spirit of Cindy will forever echo in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence, and she will be greatly missed.
