Connie Margaret Carter was born on November 24, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Ruby (Campbell) Garner. Connie was an avid Elvis fan. She enjoyed doing fantasy football. Connie adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed coloring an playing bingo. Connie enjoyed taking people’s names and turning them into inspirational messages.  She has had many  local and international pen pals over the years. She would provide daily devotion to people suffering grief.

Surviving Connie is her daughter; Tammy Garner,  and 4 grandchildren. Ana- mai (17) Elijah (13)  Isabella (7) Isaiah (7)  Siblings Evon an Don Whatley Terrance Garner Penny an Steve Benchich  along with several nieces and nephews.

Connie is preceded in death by  her sister Elizabeth Garner.
