Candice May Williams
Candice May Williams, age 63, of Oxford, Michigan, passed away after a courageous journey on January 11, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Oxford, surrounded by love.
Candice was born on February 27, 1962, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Wavard and Joyce Williams, and was preceded in death by her father, Wavard Williams and her childhood best friend Bridgette Marcum. She shared nearly 30 years of her life with Tim Sinift and together they raised three beautiful daughters.
Candice fought a valiant and courageous battle against pancreatic cancer, showing strength, grace, and resilience until the very end. She was deeply loved by everyone who knew her, and her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will be remembered always.
Nothing brought Candice greater joy than her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and her happiest moments were spent loving, spoiling, and watching them grow. She shared a very special bond with her mother, Joyce, and treasured the years she was able to live just a block away from her, close to family and home.
Candice took great pride in her yard and her gardens. She truly had a green thumb, creating beautiful spaces that reflected her care, patience, and attention to detail. She formed deep and lasting friendships with her coworkers while working in the Oxford High School cafeteria, friendships she deeply valued.
She also cherished two very special lifelong friendships with Becky Hill and Veronica Perry Shepard, whom she loved dearly and considered her chosen family.
She was incredibly proud of her daughters and the close relationships she maintained with each of them. Her daughters will miss her every single moment of every day. Her presence, her voice, and her place in their lives can never be replaced.
Candice is survived by her daughters, Brandy (Dave) Lepping, Ashlee Sinift (Austin), and Nicole (Ryan) Ford, her beloved grandchildren, Logan Huston, Camden Lepping, Teagen Lepping, Jayce Cook, Everett Ford, Lakelyn Ford, Scarlett Hill, and Ensley Ford. Also her siblings, Randy Williams, Steve Williams, Andrew (Connie) Williams, April (Dave) Copp, and Jan Keinath and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

I’m so sorry to hear about Candice. We met while working together at pine knob. We had many laughs and good times. ❤️❤️
Such a huge loss. Many good memories with her back in the day with her in the neighborhood on Elizabeth Lake. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
