Bruce A. White
August 11, 1934 – April 19, 2024
Bruce was born, in Toledo, Ohio, to Anthony Joseph and Mary Rose (Rozsa) White. He studied art in Detroit. For 45 years, Bruce worked as a product illustrator, mostly for the automobile industry, winning many awards.
Bruce loved fly fishing tying hundreds of his own flies. He loved Bald Eagle Lake and gave back to it by testing its water from 1996 to 2018. He started fishing as soon as there was open water along the lakeshore in the spring. Bruce fished in Canada, Eastern and Southern U.S., California, Costa Rica, and Belize.
He also loved baseball, and spent many hours teaching his sons to pitch and catch. He coached Little League teams.
He and his wife Sandy loved to travel; their honeymoon was a safari in Kenya. They also traveled to Alaska, Europe, Central America and many destinations in the United States.
Bruce is survived by wife Sandy, his daughter Cathy McEachern (Patrick), and sons Bruce Jr. (Sue) and Alan (Debra), his sisters Mary Koren (Bob) and Rosemary Jancsin (Bill), and his brothers Gary (Pam) and Bob (Holly), five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Brian.
No funeral will be held.

Dear Sandy,
So sorry to learn of Bruce’s passing. Just found his obituary during an internet search for him and you. We’ve lost touch since our Detroit days. I have often thought of you, and miss you both. I’m in assisted living in South Milwaukee, WI. My email, should you want it, is jabo1of10@gmail.com
Very best,
Mary Jablonski
