They lived in Clio until 1976 when they moved to a cabin they built on the AuSable River near Oscoda. Arlene had a gift of making those around her feel good. People from all walks of life gravitated to her and enjoyed her company, everyone simply adored her. Their home on the AuSable was a continuous flow of friends and family. She was on a bowling league for 50 years, bowling a 200 game at 80. She also golfed well into her 80s and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Arlene is survived by her husband of 67 years; children, Ron (Linda) Clark, Bernie Clark, Jr., and Bonnie (Earl) MacKenzie; grandchildren Shawn (Autumn) Clark and their daughters Sarah and Haley, Bernie Clark III and his children, Devon and Zoe, Kerry Christopher and her son Michael, Myles (Saskia) Standish and their sons Simon and Owen, Nathan Standish and great granddaughter Jessica Dues and her children Lexie and Zeke; and sister, Evelyn Kendall.
