Thresa Lynne O’Dell Hickman was born February 11th 1966 to Carole Kavlakian and Halbert O’Dell and peacefully passed away on January 9th, 2024 following a sudden illness.

Known to her family and friends as Terri, she grew up in Royal Oak Michigan where she graduated from Dondero High School in 1984. Terri had 3 older brothers and in 1972 she would meet Alisa Jenks (Adair) who would be her best friend and partner in crime for life. No matter where they lived or where life took them, they always stood by each other and remained very close.

In 1985, Terri had her first Daughter, Holly, followed by Heather in 1988 and Hillary in 1989. During her girls elementary years, Terri was very involved with many activities, fundraising and sporting event. She took pride in helping improve the school and would eventually becoming the PTA president for 2 years. With her first marriage, she also gained a step daughter in Erin.

Terri always had a close and special relationship with her mother Carole. They spoke on the phone daily and had a love of tea time.

In 2012, Terri married Glenn, with whom she shared a love of cars, the lions football and dogs. They loved living different places and making improvements and beautifications to their homes. They also enjoyed hosting many parties with their friends. They had recently purchased their forever home in Houghton Lake MI. With her marriage to Glenn, she gained another step daughter in Savanah.

Terri always had a great love of cooking, hosting parties and holidays with friends and family. She enjoyed to go out to eat, especially soup, salad and breadsticks at Olive Garden.

Terri was proceeded in death by her daughter Heather Fortuna last September and also her parents Carole Kavlakian (Jack Kavlakian) and Halbert O’Dell and Grandparent Richard and Estelle Ryan.

She is leaving behind Her husband Glenn, Her daughters Holly Megges (Richard), Hillary Sarate (Justin), Her Step Daughters Erin and Savanah, Her Grand Children Cameron, Silas, Raylan and Lilliana. Her Brothers, Joseph (Pamela), David, and Christopher (Amy), many nieces, nephews, cousins, extend family, loved ones near and far and of course Alisa her BFF.
