Catrina “Trina” Powell
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Catrina “Trina” Elaine Powell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who passed away on August 16, 2026.
Catrina was born on May 28, 1961, in Deckerville, MI, to Donald Block and Valeta Jones, Trina had a deep love for the water and everything outdoors. She cherished attending carnivals and fairs, as well as trips to the casino.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and many other relatives. She leaves behind her husband, Dale Powell; her children, Danielle Cook and Dale Powell Jr.; and her brother, Darryl Block (Sherri) and numerous grand-children, great grand-children, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Catrina will remember and keep alive her favorite sayings, traditions and memories.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Mom may u rest in peace and fly high above and watch over and protect all you will be severely missed and never forgotten and forever in my heart you were and always will be my number 1 girl. I knew this day would come but wasn’t quiet ready there was so many things that I wanted to ask you because u always had the right answers but what I do know is that your heart was pure gold u would give give give till there was no more u remind me of the giving tree. There was no doubts about you entering them heavenly gates and I know u got Lilly in your arms just smiling away like you always had done.
