Gunvantiben passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the age of 92. A funeral service will take place at 10:30am on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Detroit Cremation Society: 8253 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI. 48439. Gunvantiben’s family will be present at the funeral home from 9:30am until the time of service at 10:30am. Priest Nikunjkumar Joshi to officiate with cremation to follow. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Gunvantiben’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Gunvantiben was born on February 21, 1935 in Solapur, India. The beloved daughter of Rambhai and Indumati Patel of Karamsad. A devoted mother, sister, and grandmother. Gunvantiben will be remembered for her warmth, faith, and the love she shared with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Sudhir (Daksha); daughter, Bhavna (Dipak); two brothers; her daughter in-law, Jyoti; seven grandchildren; and a dozen great-grandchildren.
Gunvantiben was preceded in death by her husband, Rameshchandra; and son, Navin.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
