Age 70, of Grand Blanc, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, with additional details to be announced at a later date. Steven Glenn Burrill was born on January 9, 1956, in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Ronald and Eleanor (Lindsman) Burrill.

Steven was a skilled carpenter who took great pride in his work and the craftsmanship he left behind. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. On January 19, 1996, he married the love of his life, Johnnie Burrill, and together they shared 30 wonderful years of marriage filled with love and laughter.

Steven was always the joker in the room, bringing smiles and laughter to family and friends wherever he went. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a devoted fan to the Detroit Tigers, always referring to them as “The Boys”.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Johnnie Burrill; his children: Shawn Burrill (Rhonda Reynolds), Tammi Smith (Noah), Sarah Sparks (Rich), and Toni Cooper; his brothers and sisters; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Steven was preceded in death by his loving parents, Ronald Burrill and Eleanor Burrill.

Steven’s legacy will live on through the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all who knew and loved him.
