Karen Marie McClintock
Karen Marie McClintock, age 73, passed away peacefully May 14, 2026 and was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord, reunited in Heaven with those who went before her. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Karen lived a life filled with faith, kindness, laughter, and love for family and friends. She never met a stranger that she couldn’t become friends with, and she had a remarkable way of turning simple conversations into lifelong connections. Her warmth, kindness, and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert George McClintock and Joyce Helen (Sommer) McClintock; her siblings, Barbara (Nick) Latona, Michael McClintock, John (Johnny) Fitzgerald McClintock, and Thomas “Tommy” McClintock.
She is survived by her loving brothers, Robert (Shirley) McClintock and Ronald (Phyllis) McClintock; and her younger sister, Joan McClintock. She was a proud and beloved aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews who will forever remember her loving heart, quick wit, and the way she could make everyone smile.
Karen spent the last several decades in Lexington, Michigan, where she shared her life with her mother and brother Johnny, and many friends. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit her sister, Barbara and husband Nick, she loved soaking in the sun. In addition, she loved the simple things in life ~ good company, long conversations, laughter around the table, and keeping up with family stories and neighborhood happenings. Karen had a fun-loving spirit and a personality that could light up a room. Whether she was joking around, giving heartfelt advice, or making someone laugh when they needed it most, she brought joy wherever she went.
Karen believed deeply in the power of prayer, the importance of family, and treating everyone with kindness.
Karen will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew her. While her family mourns her loss, they find comfort knowing she is now reunited with loved ones in Heaven, probably catching up, sharing stories, and making everyone smile once again.
May perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in the peace of Christ forever.

I was very surprised by the passing of Aunt Karen. I didn’t know her as well as I wish I had, but every time I was around her she was always cracking jokes and making people laugh. She was loved dearly by everyone who met her and will be deeply missed. I hope she is at peace now with Grandma and Grandpa in heaven. Thinking of all of our family during this difficult time.
