Age 76, of Owosso, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Robert’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Robert William Lucius was born on October 12, 1949, in Owosso, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Josephine (Birchmeier) Lucius. Robert loved riding his motorcycle and taking long road trips with his wife.  He loved working outside in his yard. Robert also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Christine (Berger) Lucius, 5 children Gail Garcia, Eric Lucius (Jeanette Ciminelli), Andrea Savage (Thomas), Kim Lucius ( Michael Harriger) and Kellie Ward (John). Twelve grandchildren Christian Garcia, Carl, Domenic & Xavier Ciminelli, Kyle Ranbarger, Olivia & Dominic Savage, Noah & Ethan Harriger,  Heather Ward, Allison Gute & Derek Ward. Stepmother Teresa Ahlers Lucius, sisters Joanne Chapman, Kathy Smothers & brother Larry Lucius. Brother in law Christ Berger.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Lucius and Josephine Birchmeier Lucius, his brothers; Ronald Lucius, and Charlie Lucius.
