Philip Greer McCrory
Age 71, of Flint, passed away on May 10, 2026. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Philip’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Philip Greer McCrory was born on September 11, 1954, in Barberton, Ohio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Rachel (Listebarger) McCrory.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters: Bridgette and Mica McCrory; and his bio mother: Lillian Gibbs.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents: Albert and Rachel McCrory.

Phil was a musician a singer songwriter and one of the best engineers I have known, he will be missed
My fondest memories of Uncle Phil are when I was a young child and he lived with my grandma. We’d go over in the summer and he’d take the time to show me all of the wonders outside. I especially liked the wheel barrel that housed goldfish. He would always lift me so that I could see inside and I thought that was the coolest thing! He always played the piano when he came to our house. I was recently gifted a baby grand and I think of him often when I play. Rest in peace, Uncle Phil.
