Deepest sympathy to Carl’s wife Karen and to all of his family and friends. He was an outdoorsman’s outdoorsman which was one of his many positive traits that I admired. As we know Carl was challenged with multiple serious long-term health issues though he continued to hunt, work, and to help others while keeping a positive attitude. While neither one of us were good at staying in touch, outside of the November deer season, when we finally talked it was as if we were just together days prior. For me up North unfortunately can never be the same as a dear friend of mine is no longer with us in this world. It was a blessing to have known Carl, and I will be forever grateful that he was a part of my life
