Thomas Alan West
Thomas Alan West, Age 54, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Thomas was born on June 12, 1971, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph and Marilyn West. He was a free spirit, that easily made friends wherever he went. Thomas had a good heart and a helpful nature. He enjoyed U of M football, camping, and grilling. He also had a special place in his heart for animals.
Thomas is survived by his three children, Anthony West, Adrian West, and Ava West. Grandson, Liam West. Sisters, Jill (Richard) Grim and Kathy Zill. Brothers, Robert (Mary Beth) West and Steve (Lori) West. Sister-in-law, Robin West. Nieces and nephews, Kelly, Blair, Melanie, Chris, Justin, Jessica, Philicia, Kelsey, and Cydney.
Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Mariyln, brother Alan, nephew Jacob, and niece, Megan.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Thomas’ tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

I worked with Tom at Atkins we spent lot of time together running to the party store and gave him many rides home.I remember how excited he was to be a grandpa . He always made me laugh with his jokes and was always kind to me even when he was struggling..May the lord wrap his arms around him and take him to his kingdom. R.i.p my friend.
