Age 83, of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Nina’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

Nina Jane Bouchard was born on April 8, 1943, in Fenton, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Lillian (Williams) Heron. Nina was a homemaker, raising three children in Fenton and Grand Blanc, Michigan. She also worked in caretaking occupations within the education and senior living industries. Nina was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always involved and supportive of their various interests. In retirement, Nina enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Nina was a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers. She also took pleasure in decorating her home, especially for the Christmas holiday season.

She is survived by her children, Robert Kenneth Bouchard, Tammy Lynn Ranney, and Charles Kenneth Bouchard; grandchildren Brandy Lynn Bouchard, Hunter Donald Trevorrow, Nicole Renee Bouchard, Michelle Marie Bouchard; and great-grandson Jaxon Pellet.  Also left to cherish her memory are her brother, Edward Lee Heron, and sister-in-law Nancy Heron, Frances Heron, and Robert Barton. Nina’s twelve nieces and nephews, her extended family, and her friends will miss her presence in their lives. 

Nina was predeceased by her parents, John and Lillian Heron; her sisters, Vicki Lynn Barton and Betty Ellen Hill; and her brothers, Donald Jay Heron and John Henry Heron.

There will be no services at this time. The family will host a celebration of Nina’s life at a later date.

Forever in our hearts, Nina will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed.
