Age 83, passed peacefully on October 16, 2025 at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan.  She was born on July 24, 1942, in Flint, Michigan. Brenda married Clare Hudson, on February 20, 1959, and together they shared 47 years of marriage before his passing in 2006.

She is survived by her sons Brent (Patty) Hudson, Craig Hudson, Brian (Shannon) Hudson, and Matt Hudson. She was preceded in death by her son Jeff Hudson, parents Lionel & Gladys Thulen, sisters Maxine, June, Carol Sue and her brother Wendell.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Sylvia Damon, Jenny Bennet, Kat Eckerle, Mandy Stimson, David Hudson, Alicia Statler, Cassie Hudson, Breanna Hudson, Tiffany Hudson, Emily Hudson, and Will Hudson, as well as seventeen great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.

Brenda was a lover of her animals, especially cats. Over her lifetime she saved/spoiled hundreds of strays. Brenda was a proud Billy Ray Cyrus fan and cherished every concert she attended. Her talent with a needle was nothing short of art. She created countless handmade gifts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching works of art that her loved ones will treasure forever. Every Christmas, her family looked forward to the beautiful handmade blankets and crafts she lovingly prepared for them. She will be deeply missed.
