Wanda Lee Cantrell
Age 87, of Burton, Michigan passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Wanda’s tribute wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Wanda Lee Cantrell was born on September 2, 1937, in Buchanan County, Virginia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ulis and Garnett (Keen) McClanahan. She was a wonderful wife of almost 70 years to Carl Cantrell, they raised 6 children and had the pleasure to enjoy many of their friends and Russell St. neighborhood families. She was a Line worker at Fisher Body in Flint, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting Afghans (scratches as great grand daughter Riley calls it) with love for others to enjoy. She enjoyed her family, the youth, energy and laughter her kids, Grand kids and great grand kids showed when the visited.

Morris, MI, Nickolas (Emily)Drew, Grand Blanc, MI, Luke (Alvena)Cantrell, Flint, MI, Zachary Flanagin, Fenton, MI, Joanna (David) Griffin, Bushnell, FL, her great-grandchildren; Carson & Kaylie Cantrell, Huntsville, PA, Allea & Emma Drew Flint, MI, Ava, Riley & Cooper Drew, Grand Blanc, MI, Luka Cantrell, Flint, MI, Beau Flanagin, Fenton, MI, Brantley & Chase Griffin, Bushnell, FL, and several nieces, nephews and Friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Carl Cantrell, sons Douglas Cantrell and Virgil Dewayne Cantrell Sr. Parents, Ulis & Garnett Keen McClanahan, siblings Pauline Horn, Betty Hardy, Mary Walker, Jerry McClanahan, Teako and Dusty along with several family & friends.

Also the staff of 9th Tower, Kevin and nurses who helped Carl and Wanda, special thanks to Dr. Harrison and staff for the Medical help you gave for their medical.
