Karen Lynn (Pirtle) Rohner


Karen Lynn (Pirtle) Rohner, 78, of Flint, Michigan, passed away on June 23, 2025. She was born to Wyman and Florence Pirtle on August 29, 1946.

Karen graduated from Flint Central High School in 1964 and went on to work for over 30 years at Delphi in Flint before retiring from General Motors. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (“Gigi”), and devoted animal lover. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved great-granddaughter.

Karen is survived by her two daughters, Sherry LaCasse and Shelly (LaCasse) Digard; her grandchildren, Ryan Digard and Sarah Digard; her beloved great-granddaughter, Coralynne Digard; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Paul James Pirtle.

Her family is grateful for the support from her longtime friend, Patty LeBeau, and cherished family friend, Clenzell “Wood” Page.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

    Karen and I were good friends in HS. She drove and took me around to CHS and games. Fond memories. She also helped us on the reunion committee. I am sorry for your loss and my sincere condolences. She will be missed.
