Paul Geoffrey Krause

Age 68, of Grand Blanc, passed away on October 28, 2024. In accordance with his wishes, his brain was donated to the Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center and cremation has taken place. Paul was passionate about science and learning, and would be most honored to be a part of ground-breaking research about brain disease.

Paul Geoffrey Krause was born on September 14, 1956, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Dorothy (Bourdeau) Krause. Paul lived a life full of adventure, taking countless vacations with his beloved wife, Evelyn, son’s, Andrew and Cody, and several friends and family members. Above all, Paul loved to spend snowy spring days in the mountains of Colorado skiing with his sons, wife, brothers, nieces and nephews, and far reaching circle of friends. Paul was an alumni of Michigan State University spent nearly every Saturday cheering on the Spartan Football team with his son’s and family.

Surviving Evelyn are her two sons Cody and Andrew Krause, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Krause, grandchildren Dexter and Cecilia Krause, and siblings Fred and Scott Krause.

Paul is preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn Krause and his parents Charles “Skeez” Krause and Dorothy Stafford.

A memorial service will be held this Sunday, November 10 at Detroit Cremation Society at 8253 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, MI 48439—visitation 12-1:30pm, followed by a service 1:30-2pm.
