Bruce Krapohl
Krapohl, Bruce E. – of Mt. Morris, MI, age 67, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 13, 2024. No service will be held per Bruce’s wishes. A private memorial with family will be held at a later date.
Bruce was born in Flint, MI on March 28, 1957, the son of Henry and Janice (Roof) Krapohl. Bruce graduated from Beecher High School in 1975 and also had attended Mott College for a short time. He was retired from General Motors.
Bruce loved spending time with his grandkids, talking to the birds, hunting for treasures. In his younger years he loved spending time fishing and canoeing with his daughter, Kim, and traveling with family.
His family has many cherished memories of Bruce; like his heroism in saving his nephews from drifting from the bay into Lake Michigan donned only in a rubber ducky inflatable toy. Bruce, after receiving a perfectly dried up orange as a gag from one of his nephews the previous Christmas, had dried oranges and made them into ornaments for all of us, complete with a nice story about how the Christmas orange came about.
Bruce is survived by his daughter; Kimberly Krapohl, grandchildren; Davis Crane, Jays Crane and Percy Crane, mother; Janice Krapohl, brother; James (DeAnn) Krapohl, sisters; Susan (Tony) Genovese, Peggy (Randy) Couch and Kathy Krapohl, sister-in-law; Faye Krapohl, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by daughter; Stephanie Krapohl, father; Henry Krapohl, brother; John Krapohl.
Bruce’s obituary was written by his loving family.
