Danny Kilburn
Age 75, of Swartz Creek, passed away on May 29, 2024. In accordance with his wishes, cremation is to take place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on Danny’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.
Danny Kilburn was born on October 3, 1948, in Canoe Kentucky , the son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi and Julia (Campbell) Kilburn. Danny married his high school sweetheart Karen Beckwith on Feb 1, 1969. Danny proudly served in the US Army from 1969-1971.He retired from General motors as a skilled trades Millwright. Danny enjoyed restoring classic vehicles and riding his Harley. Danny was a very kind hearted man always willing to help those around him. We will always remember and cherish the special moments we had. And we can’t forget his famous 4th of July get togethers. He will always be remembered and cherished by his family and friends.
Surviving Danny is his loving wife of 55 years Karen, son Christopher (Carole) Kilburn, daughter Denise Osterwyk and his grandsons that called him Pa Jacob Osterwyk and Troy Osterwyk. Sister Bonnie and brothers Levi Jr, David, Larry, Charles, Darryl, Michael, and Sister-in-law Marlene Aldridge.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents Levi and Julia Kilburn, sister Wanda Mallard and father and mother in-law Carl and Ardis Beckwith, and sister-in-law Carolyn Foreman.

I am so sorry to hear this Karen he will be missed so much . I lost a brother when he passed now he is at peace with mom and dad and Wanda I always felt loved by the whole family and I loved mom’s fried chicken for dinner loved her cooking and will always remember our July 4th gatherings and fireworks always so much fun I loved Dan and his cars. We need to do July 4th for Danny to celebrate his life. We will see them all again in Heaven and they are our special Angels watching over us and Karen Dan will always be with you
