I am happy to have had the chance to talk with Carl in recent years so that I could know him as an adult after growing up with him as my classmate at St. Agnes. I appreciate that moment, that he was a good husband, father and human and I thank him for his service to our country. May he rest in peace and may his family find comfort in remembering their beautiful time with him on this earth.
