Age 91, of Birch Run, died Monday, November 20, 2017, at Bavarian Comfort Care in Bridgeport. In accordance with Charlotte’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Charlotte was born in Caro, Michigan, on November 26, 1925, the son of Mr. & Mrs. William and Margeret (Lawrence) Gunsell. She graduated from Caro High School. She and Gordon were united in marriage on September 30, 1967. Sadly, he preceded her in death on May 9, 2007. Charlotte worked for the Dow Insurance Agency as an underwriter. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, being active and tending to her many hobbies.

Charlotte is survived by her two children: Julie (Ron) Lewis and Jory (Debbie) Petiprin; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter: Connie Buffa; two special nieces and one special nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Dow, parents, daughter Candy Buffa and three sisters.
