Age 65, of Flint, passed away at Hurley Medical Center on November 28, 2021. To honor his wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family on John’s Tribute Wall at detroitcremationsociety.com.

John J. Windle was born on February 4, 1956, in Holly, Michigan to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Nancy (Anible) Windle. John enjoyed fishing in the U.P. and visiting his grandpa, Floyd, in Watersmeet, Michigan. His love for horses led him to work and care for them and eventually owned a barrel horse, Crazy Baretta and enjoyed barrel racing at Genesee County Fair. He also held a special place in his heart for his beloved dog, Dylan, and cat, Charlie. They brought him many years of joy. He spent the past year helping to care for his mother.

John leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter; Samanthia and her fiancé, Christopher, grandson, Aiden, and granddaughter, Emma; four sisters, Karla, and husband, Wayne Dunn, Lori McDaniels, Cathy and husband, Rick Keeler, Linda and husband, Mark Snitko, one brother, Ken and wife, Meghann Windle; many nieces, nephews, and special friend, Kenny, his landlord of many years.

John is preceded in death by his father, niece; Andrea McDaniels, and brother-in-law; Rich McDaniels.
