Margaret “Peggy” Theresa LaLone, 96, of Flushing, Michigan passed away on June 11, 2022, peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Margaret was born on October 16, 1925, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Delia (Foley) McDonough. She married the love of her life, Harold LaLone, on April 8, 1947. Peggy was loved by many, she had the best heart. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and making surprise desserts. Most importantly, Peggy loved going to garage sales for “hidden treasures.” Margaret retired from General Motors after 25 years of service.

Surviving Margaret is her children; Harold “Bud” (Sharon) LaLone and Patricia West, grandchildren; Amy (Cory)LaLone Burnell, Peggy LaLone and family, Tracy LaLone, and Kelli (Rex) Burpee; great-grandchildren; Megan Kleinedler and family, Amber (John) Lamb and family, Caitlyn LaLone and family, Gage Jenkins and family, Dylan Brunell, and Kaleb Burpee; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Along with cherished friends and neighbors, Dick and Nancy LaBonte.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband; Harold, siblings; Tom, Marty, Mary, Kay, and Fran, and dear friends; Lillian and Mary.
