Obituary of Ray Charles Smith

Age 43, of Flint, Michigan passed away on July 9, 2022. Visitation will take place from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Detroit Cremation Society, 8253 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, with cremation to follow. Elder John Hart Officiating. Ray Charles Smith was born on December 4, 1978, in Clio, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Rosemary (Watson) Smith. Ray has a huge family, which he loved so very much. He was a kind soul and was dear to anyone who may have crossed paths with him. Ray loved his hat collection, cars, and music, but most of all, he loved his family and friends. Surviving Ray is his mother; Rosemary Smith, sister; Tammy Roberts, brother; Jason Smith, nephews; Josh Smith, Landon Smith, and Randel Roberts, great-niece; Harlo, and many aunts, uncles, and friends who loved him very much. The family would like to give a special thanks to Michael Henderson, who has been watching over Ray for the past 12 years. Ray was preceded in death by his father; Charles Smith, and his grandparents.
