Donald R. Cronin Jr
Cronin Jr, Donald R. – Of Flint, age 70, died Monday, October 27, 2025 in Flint, Michigan. Don was born in Flint, Michigan on September 25, 1955. The oldest of Donald and Elizabeth (Cooper) Cronin’s three sons, Don graduated from Flint Central in 1973 and attended Michigan State University. A Flintstone through and through, Don lived the overwhelming majority of his life in downtown Flint. Don was the kindest of souls, who gave more than he had and wanted only the best for his family, friends, neighbors, and everyone he encountered.
Don is survived by his brother Andy, and sister-in-law Kasey, nephew Kevin, nieces Darcy (Steve) Thomas, and Anne Colcord; great-nephews Johnny and Danny; great-nieces Adeline and Genevieve; lifelong best friend Jamie Nelson and his family of friends from Chandler Street.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Betty, brother Danny, and infant sister Maureen.
A family funeral will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Christ the King Church in Flint. Family will be available to receive friends from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00am. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
We will miss him greatly and cherish the many wonderful memories we have.

I just heard about Donnies passing. Very sad. I’m a lifelong friend. Many amazing times together. So sorry to hear. A great friend who i have missed through the years. God bless his memory and the family including Andy.
